Answers to some of the questions I am asked most frequently ..
How do you compare with slimming clubs like Slimming World or Weight Watchers?
We dont, we talk about food not points or sins and we look at your underlying health issues, your digestion, energy and sleep. There is no one plan that fits all so we tailor it to you and your health needs.
How much can I expect to lose on your 6 week plan ?
What I tend to see with my clients is on average a stone but it varies as we are all different.
Weight loss at 25 is very different to weight loss at 50 with an underactive thyroid or Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome. Weight loss is achievable no matter what stage in life you are at.
What does change with everyone is improved digestion, better sleep and more energy plus a clear focus on their eating habits and choices.
Are you different to a dietician ?
Yes I look at the whole person, what’s happening from the digestive system to what’s stressors are effecting your cortisol and blood sugar balance.
Not just diagnosed ailments but the little things like feeling tired and bloated.
My test results from my doctor are all normal but I still feel terrible, can you help?
Yes. We are built from food and food is the fuel for our bodies and minds so why wouldn’t our diet be a factor in our low energy and bloating?
Doctors are great for treating symptoms but not always the underlying cause that can take a bit of detective work.
I review test results and suggest further testing as appropriate.
Can you provide consultations on line ?
Yes I can and do regularly with clients who don’t want to travel.
The advantages include clients showing me their kitchen cupboards and supplements as well as their plate sizes !
