Kale Crisps
At last ! a healthy nutritious crisp that’s guilt free…
We all love a snack in front of the tv with a cuppa or glass of wine, but beware this is the time we can take in too many empty calories.
So for a change try a super green snack, its an irish superfood thats in all the shops right now.
Rich in B vitamins, iron, fiber and even essential fats but low in calories. And more calcium than milk!
Ingredients:
200g kale, bite sized pieces, stem removed
1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
1/4 tsp sea salt
Method:
Preheat oven to 180C, line a baking tray. Wash and dry kale, add oil and salt. Bake for 10-15 mins until edges are brown.
